Anne of Green Gables

Anne is one of many heroines of young girls idealize. The last two weekends, my roommates have watched the Anne of Green Gables movies. My roommates and I just love Anne. She is a unique, spunky, individual who stands up for being herself. She is the model for being herself and not fear what everyone else thinks. Some else she teaches that she learns over the course of her life is: "Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?" Overall, Anne is one of my favorites, a story where good morals can be learned.

  1. I grew up watching Anne of Green Gables with my cousin, and I loved it! She can teach us so much about confidence and individuality. Such great movies!!

  2. Oh my goodness! I've always loved Anne. I always thought that she was so cool--becoming the first in her class, taking the initiative to dye her hair, making men fall in love with her because she's so stinkin sassy and smart, and bringing out the best in others. (even the crazy Scottish grandma and the grouchy school headmistress). I think she's a great example. Plus she's just got some wicked sweet hair...
